Speaking to the Western Daily Press, Slade said: "The fact that they lost last week against Oldham will make them a wounded animal coming into the game, so they will want to put that right. We will have to be on our mettle to get a result.

"They found themselves very close last season, so they will want to avoid leaving it to chance. They were very impressive when they came here at the end of last season, and I am sure that they will want to continue that.

"What we have created here at Yeovil is a real focus on doing our very best, win or lose, and I think that supporters who have seen us in the first three games have seen us play with a big heart. Whatever the outcome is from Saturday's game, it won't be for the want of trying."
