Wright Deal Not Right

Manager Dario Gradi refuted reports suggesting Premiership duo Fulham and Leeds were interested in signing the 23-year-old right-back for £500k.

Gradi said: "I've seen the speculation in the papers but there is nothing in it as far as we are concerned.

"No-one has made an offer for David Wright and I haven't spoken to anyone.

"There is nothing imminent happening."

And indeed nothing did!
