Trophy Changes

"We have a massive home game against Leyton Orient on Saturday so there will be new faces in the game at Darlington," Wise said.

"I don't look to make many changes in the league but it's good to have competition for places and this will be an opportunity for some of the players on the fringe of the team.

"Alan Thompson will have a run-out too. I left him out against Yeovil because he has only trained for ten days out of 28 and looks a bit off the pace."

Asked whether he wants to win the Trophy, Wise answered: "I am taking the league very seriously."

Portuguese winger Filipe Da Costa, who only received international clearance from FIFA last week and was an unused substitute against Yeovil, could make his debut at Darlington.

But Jonathan Douglas misses the trip and the visit of Orient on Saturday because he is on international duty with the Republic of Ireland.
