Strong Line-Up Set For Chester

Gary McAllister says he is planning to field a strong line-up when Leeds United visit Chester City for their Carling Cup first-round tie tomorrow night.

However, Enoch Showunmi and David Prutton have emerged as doubts for the tie after sustaining slight knocks during Saturday's 2-1 win over Scunthorpe United.

This will be only the sixth meeting between the clubs, the fifth in the League Cup. The most recent occasion was two years ago at Elland Road when Eirik Bakke's solitary goal separated the sides.

Chester were thrashed 6-0 by Dagenham & Redbridge on their opening League Two fixture on Saturday and manager Simon Davies will be looking to bounce back with a good result against the Whites at the Deva Stadium.
