Included in the 16-man squad are Ian Harte, Seth Johnson, Danny Mills and Didier Domi and trialist Andy Watson is also given another chance.

David Batty is also named with Reid keen to see him gain more match fitness.

Domi is pushing for a place against former club Newcastle on Sunday, and will look to put in a favourable performance tonight against the Unibond Premier Division side.

Jody Morris is expected to get the nod to start in central midfield against The Magpies, but competition is strong for the right to partner him.

Johnson did play almost an hour in Dublin against Villa when he linked up well alongside Morris, who was at the hub of things for United, but was rested for the Shelbourne debacle.

The former Derby youngster is slowly gaining in match fitness after undergoing knee surgery.

The match kicks off at 7.45pm and supporters can pay on the gate.

United: Carson, Kilgallon, Harte, Batty, Seth Johnson, McMaster, Okon, Keegan, Mills, Richardson, Domi, Allaway, Simon Johnson, Krief, McPhail, Watson.
