Ryan Would Love It!

Rovers just missed out on the chance to go up automatically on Saturday after they lost 2-1 at Cheltenham, who kept their League One status with the win.

Doncaster now have to meet Southend in the play-offs while Leeds play Carlisle United in the other semi.

Ryan admits the only way of him forgetting the disappointment against the Robins would be by beating Leeds at Wembley on May 25.

"I'm absolutely shattered. Luck deserted us badly, but, at the beginning of the season my dream, a Leeds United versus Doncaster Rovers final is still on," he said.

"We've got Southend and we're capable of beating Southend over two legs, very much so, and we're capable of beating Leeds United at Wembley. If we do that I'll forget about Cheltenham."
