Radebe in yet another fall-out

Radebe, who is currently sidelined with a knee injury and who left Elland Road on crutches after last weeks Arsenal fixture, has been criticised for not being available for the Bafana squad for their African Nations Cup qualifier against Burundi on the 13th October.

Radebe has suffered a recurrence of the knee injury that saw him miss nearly all of last season but Bafana Bafana officials are furious that their doctors are never allowed to examine him.

"I feel there is some dishonesty in the player," said South African coach Ephraim Mashaba .

"He should come and talk to us, we know only what we read in the newspapers."

Radebe, who was unable to travel to the Ukraine with the rest of the squad for this weeks UEFA Cup 1st Round, 2nd leg clash because of this recent injury, is due back in South Africa on October 12th to appear as an ambassador for the Cricket World Cup - if he carries out this commitment then the South African Football Association might be able to assess his fitness for themselves!!
