New Offer For Gregan Rejected

The bid was tabled by Leeds who are keen to add the midfielder to their squad for their Championship campaign to get back on track.

"We have had expressions of interest in Sean Gregan from a number of clubs," read a statement from West Brom. "But none of their offers have matched the valuation of Sean that our club feels is appropriate, either in respect of his abilities as a player or in respect of his leadership qualities."

Gregan is thought to be keen to leave to secure regular first team football, and Leeds are expected to make a further offer although they face competition from other clubs.

The 30-year-old seems to favour a move north, and Leeds' offer is believed to have add-ons, rather than being a one-off payment.
