West Yorkshire Police made 10 arrests after the 1-1 draw at Elland Road and riot police were called to quell fighting inside the stadium.
An FA spokesman said: "We are making inquiries and will speak to the police. Some of the incidents appear to have occurred outside the ground and they would not fall under our jurisdiction."
