The Croydon Advertiser exclusively reveals that after Crystal Palace's game against Cardiff City last night Freedman explained reasons behind why he at first rejected a move to Elland Road.

But the Advertiser has since learned that Freedman's proposed switch to the Whites is now on, just hours after it looked as if the deal was dead in the water.
