Duberry: I'd Rather Be Sitting With My Girlfriend Rubbing Her Belly

Duberry moaned in the Sunday People: "I'm not happy sitting in the reserves at all. I'm not happy here playing reserve football. I don't want to be playing reserve football.

"I'd rather be sitting with my girlfriend rubbing her belly because we're going to have a baby soon. I'd rather be at home with her on a Tuesday night, but I've got to do it.

"This is what Eddie wants me to do to prove myself but I'm far from happy playing in the reserves. I want to be playing first team football because I didn't get into the game to play at places like Wakefield.

"I've been fit and ready to play for the first team for the last two weeks and I'm just waiting until Eddie gives me the nod to play in the first team.

"I've got two years left on my contract and as far as I'm concerned I'm a Leeds player until the end of 2006.

"Since I signed for Leeds in 1999 every summer I've supposedly been out of the door but until the club tell me they don't want me I'm a Leeds player. I want to be a part of a Leeds team battling against relegation.

" I don't want to be sitting on the sidelines when there's a relegation battle going on because you feel you can't do anything.

"I feel I'm playing well enough to get myself back in the team, but the decision is Eddie Gray's now."
