Richmond resigned as a director of Leeds and its associated companies on July 12, a consultancy agreement was then struck with Richmond to run for 27 months from November 1 at the rate of £17k per month, according to a report prepared into the club's financial commitments.
It is understood the agreement to make the consultancy payments coincided with the transfer to the other board members of the Richmond family trust's shareholding in Leeds's holding company Adulant Force in September.
Richmond, Leeds' chairman Gerald Krasner and the finance director Melvin Helme declined to comment.
