Chelsea Pay Up For Gordon

Gordon started his career at Bradford City before moving to Leeds at the age of 12 and the Bantams have already received the money from the 10% sell-on clause inserted in the deal that took the youngster across West Yorkshire.

Bradford joint chairman Julian Rhodes said: "We spoke to the League on Thursday to clariify what the position was as we thought there would be a delay due to the Leeds situation. But they told us to expect the cheque and it has now arrived."
