Carson Keeps U-21 Place

Leeds' goalkeeping coach Martin Hodge said: "Scott is excellent to work with. He's a very capable keeper already but he's also very keen to learn and work hard at his game.

"The keepers all get on really well here and if they can help each other out they will. There is rivalry, naturally, but they all know Leeds United comes first and we are all working towards helping the club back up the ladder."

Carson only turned 19 last Friday and made his debut in January as a substitute, two minutes from the end of a 3-0 home defeat against Middlesbrough, after Paul Robinson had been sent off.
