Brighton A 'Banana Skin' Says Wise

The Whites have lost on both of their last two visits to Brighton's unusual ground and a third defeat on the south coast today would end the only unbeaten record in the Football League.

Leeds are unbeaten in 11 league games but Wise admitted the fixture would provide the first obvious "banana skin" for the team.

Wise, however, believes his squad has greater quality than that possessed by Brighton boss Dean Wilkins and he will order his players to have faith in themselves.

Wise said: "It's a possible banana skin and a tricky place to go. It's not a nice stadium. But the lads have to realise that it's 11 versus 11 on some grass, and not worry about what's around it.

"I'm looking for a very professional performance. I want us to be solid but to cause Brighton problems as well. We'll have the players fired up.

"Brighton are a decent outfit. But I look at my team and I look at their team, and I think we look a strong side compared to them."
