Bechan On Trial

Bechan (born Amsterdam, 12 September 1982) signed his first contract at Ajax in 1999, having come through the youth ranks of the Amsterdam club. The man to give him his first shot in the first team was head-coach Co Adriaanse. Bechan made his first team début at age 18.

The winger is currently with Spanish club Hercules and previously trained with Inverness Caledonian Thistle earlier this month.

Gary McAllister is giving Bechan a chance to win a move to West Yorkshire.

Bechan has also had stints with Sparta Rotterdam, FC Groningen and Den Bosch. He moved to Spain last year but only played nine times.
