Andrews Sent Back To Coventry

Constantine was hoping to take part in his first session of full training for almost four months today but Andrews' short loan stay with Leeds has come to an end.

The striker was signed for a month at the beginning of October but made only two appearances for the Whites, the Johnstone's Paint Trophy victory over Darlington and the league win at Oldham on his debut.

Coventry would have allowed Dennis Wise to extend the deal had United's manager wished to retain Andrews, but the 29-year-old has returned to the Ricoh Arena after sitting on the bench through Saturday's win over Millwall.

Leeds were more interested in renewing the loan of Mark De Vries, who arrived at Elland Road at the same time as Andrews to help cover for suspensions to Jermaine Beckford and Tresor Kandol, but a broken toe forced the Dutchman to cut short his temporary stay from Leicester City last week.
