Albion Deny Striker Bid

Sources in Leeds claim the Baggies have an interest in the 25-year-old and have been monitoring his situation for some time.

Albion have opted not to comment on that speculation but have moved quickly to deny lunchtime reports that they have made a bid of around £2m for Beckford.

Whether the Baggies will decide to formalise their interest remains to be seen.
