West Ham United have signed striker Joel Piroe from Leeds United on a season-long loan, with an obligation to buy in the summer of 2027.
The 27-year-old scored 73 times in the Championship over four seasons, first with Swansea City before a move to Leeds United, where he was the club's top scorer in the 2024-25 season to help them win the title.
However, he failed to find the net in the Premier League last season in 16 appearances.

Born in the Netherlands, but now a Suriname international, Piroe played for PSV Eindhoven, and had a loan spell at Sparta Rotterdam, before arriving in England and becoming prolific in the second tier.
West Ham have not confirmed either the agreed transfer fee for his 2027 move, nor the length of his proposed contract.
