Leeds United attacker Largie Ramazani has joined Burnley on a season-long loan that will turn into a permanent deal should he reach an "achievable number of appearances" for the Clarets this season.
It is understood that the fee, if triggered, will sit at £6.5m, which could rise to £8.5m with add-ons. Ramazani was purchased from Spanish club Almeria for £10m on a four-year deal in 2024.
Ramazani spent last season on loan at Valencia and was not taken on the club’s pre-season tour of the USA this summer. Daniel Farke later confirmed he was not part of his plans for the season ahead.
The winger was back at base in Leeds as he plotted his next steps, and he will now return to the Championship. The potential triggering of his purchase clause does not depend on whether Burnley secure promotion.
