Daniel Farke has revealed that Mateo Joseph has asked to leave the club.
Joseph did not fly out to Germany to join Leeds' training camp.
The 21-year-old has reportedly been the subject of transfer interest from Real Betis this summer and informed Farke that he wants a move to Spain.
Leeds rejected a bid from Betis in excess of £10m in February for Joseph.
Farke insists he will not stand in the way of the striker's wishes but says any transfer will need to meet Leeds' demands.
