YEP Player Ratings

Last updated : 24 October 2016 By .

Rob Green - Safe hands throughout and pulled off a big save from Teixeira late in the first half. Only the odd kick went astray. 7/10

Luke Ayling - Possibly the most underrated of Monk’s signings. Caught out on a few occasions but showed huge amounts of energy and was so often in the right place at the right time. 8/10

Kyle Bartley - Injuries have weakened Nouha Dicko’s game but he still had the potential to be a menace and Bartley kept him pretty quiet. 7/10

Pontus Jansson - Typical Jansson, with headers, interceptions and big tackles, despite being crunched twice in the first half. 8/10

Charlie Taylor - There were good aspects to his performance but still that feeling that Taylor is some way below his best. 6/10

Eunan O’Kane - A key factor in the result. His effort was superb and he looks every bit as good a holding midfielder as Liam Bridcutt. 9/10

Kalvin Phillips - There were periods of the match where he struggled to get a foot on the ball but better spells too. 6/10

Ronaldo Vieira - Looks so comfortable on the ball and it could be argued that he deserves a run on the back of this display. Hernandez wasn’t missed. 7/10

Hadi Sacko - Probably picked the wrong option with the chip which hit the crossbar but ran all day and was ruthless with Doherty’s mistake. 7/10

Kemar Roofe - Another step forward for him and while the winning effort went down as an own goal, his presence in the box helped to force it. 6/10

Chris Wood - Played as well as he could have done given the amount of service he had and very nearly claimed a second goal. 7/10

Subs:Alex Mowatt (for Vieira, 85) - Monk’s substitutions were under scrutiny but Wolves failed to build up a proper head of steam at the end. 5/10

Liam Cooper (for Sacko, 88) - Was given a bit of defending to do but with the exception of one chance, Leeds were comfortable enough. 5/10

Souleymane Doukara (for Wood, 90) - A change which wasted time as much anything. And there was no harm in that. 5/10

Subs (not used): Marco Silvestri, Lewie Coyle, Matt Grimes, Marcus Antonsson.

Referee: Stuart Attwell (Warwickshire) - Was at least consistent in allowing numerous dubious challenges to go unpunished. But the crowd vented at him. 5/10

Attendance: 23,607

Wolverhampton Wanderers:Carl Ikeme - 6 Silvio - 5 Danny Batth - 7 Kortney Hause - 6 Matt Doherty - 4 Helder Costa - 6 Dave Edwards - 6 Jon Dadi Bodvarsson - 5 Romain Saiss - 6 João Teixeira - 7 Nouha Dicko - 5

Subs: Ivan Cavaleiro (for Dicko, 63) - 6 Conor Coady (for Doherty, 76) - 5 Ola John (for Teixeira, 76) - 5
