Rob Green Wasn’t asked to do much but when he was, his block from Hourihane was absolutely vital. Has had a good month. 7/10

Luke Ayling Very diligent on the right until Barnsley finally got through him with 20 minutes left. A very decent shift. 7/10

Kyle Bartley Scored the opening goal and like the colossal Swede alongside him, got through masses of work at the back. 8/10

Pontus Jansson At first you wondered if his initial impact would be flash-in-the-pan but Jansson is showing himself to be top class at this level. 8/10

Charlie Taylor Couldn’t do much about the own goal and if he hadn’t touched it, Sam Winnall would have tapped the ball in. 7/10

Eunan O’Kane His passing was wayward in the first half and Leeds’ midfield lack rhythm but the period after half-time was much better. His pass set up Hernandez. 6/10

Kalvin Phillips Got involved in a competitive scrap in the middle of the pitch and put in a few key late tackles as Barnsley pressed for a draw. 8/10

Hadi Sacko The same as Bristol City. Caused all manner of trouble with his running but still isn’t quite delivering at the decisive moment. 6/10

Pablo Hernandez His class shone through again with a fine goal, though he wasn’t able to dictate play exactly as he would have liked. 7/10

Stuart Dallas Grafted hard and enjoyed some success on the left but you still feel that there is more to come from him. 6/10

Chris Wood Not his day. Had a couple of half-chances but the ball always seemed to be yard ahead of him. 6/10

Subs:Marcus Antonsson (for Sacko, 74) - Denied a goal by a great save and posed a threat. 6/10 Kemar Roofe (for Hernandez, 83) - Still searching for the form which made him such a commodity at Oxford. 5/10 Ronaldo Vieira (for Dallas, 89) - Backs to the wall when he came on and didn’t see much of the ball. 5/10

Subs (not used): Marco Silvestri, Lewie Coyle, Liam Cooper, Alex Mowatt

Referee: Simon Hooper (Wiltshire) - Plenty of dubious calls but none which really influenced the outcome. 6/10

Attendance: 27,350

Barnsley:Adam Davies - 6 Andy Yiadom - 7 Marc Roberts - 6 Angus MacDonald - 6 Cole Kpekawa - 7 Conor Hourihane - 6 Adam Hammill - 6 Ryan Kent - 5 Sam Winnall - 6 Adam Armstrong - 5

Subs:Marley Watkins (for Armstrong, 66) - 6 Tom Bradshaw (for Kent, 82) - 5
