YEP Player Ratings

Last updated : 08 February 2016 By Phil Hay

Marco Silvestri: Could have got a stronger hand to Oliveira’s header but Forest would have murdered their Portuguese striker if he’d failed to bury it. 6/10

Scott Wootton: Took a bit of abuse when he was substituted but the same fact remains: solid or not, Wootton is a centre-back being asked to play right-back. 5/10

Giuseppe Bellusci: He and Cooper were posted missing as Forest scored, expecting an offside flag, but he was United’s best defender again. 7/10

Liam Cooper: In the main, Forest were kept at close range by Leeds and it would be wrong to point the finger at their backline. 6/10

Charlie Taylor: His crossing could have been more telling but there is not much to aim at and he made a couple of important tackles. 6/10

Liam Bridcutt: Although Forest sat back, their midfield was far more mobile and dangerous than United’s and Bridcutt did not have a great day. 5/10

Toumani Diagouraga: Dominant at Bolton but couldn’t impose himself on Forest and found the pace of the contest a challenge. 5/10

Stuart Dallas: Led a quick start from Leeds and was the one player who caused trouble when the ball came to him, 6/10

Lewis Cook: A thankless afternoon in the No 10 role as Vaughan targeted him and Forest marked him out of that position. 5/10

Souleymane Doukara: Almost scored with an early header but faded and was caught napping in the move when Forest scored. 5/10

Mirco Antenucci: Could have played all night without scoring. Had nothing to work with and couldn’t create anything himself.5/10

Substitutes: Mustapha Carayol (for Dallas, 70) - Brought a bit more urgency to the performance without looking like forcing the issue. 5/10

Lee Erwin (for Diagouraga, 81) - Not the sort of chance he wants: a short run-out in a game where Leeds are struggling to create. 5/10

Tom Adeyemi (for Wootton, 90) - Appeared too late to have any real impact. 5/10

Subs (not used): Bailey Peacock-Farrell, Lewie Coyle, Sol Bamba, Luke Murphy.

Referee: Scott Duncan (Northumberland) - He and his officials made a fair number of dubious decisions but they could not be blamed for the result. 6/10

Attendance: 24,079

Nottingham Forest: Dorus De Vries – 6, Eric Lichaj – 6, Matt Mills – 7, Michael Mancienne – 7, Bojan Jokic – 6, David Vaughan – 7, Robert Tesche – 7, Gary Gardner – 7, Ben Osborn – 6, Jamie Ward – 7, Nelson Oliveira - 8

Substitutes: Oliver Burke (for Ward, 75) – 6, Dexter Blackstock (for Oliveira, 89) - 5
