Wise Fined

Wise denied the charge when he appeared in person before the FA disciplinary panel.

The charge related to an incident at Elland Road on January 20 when the former Chelsea midfielder was red-carded during the 3-2 defeat to West Bromwich Albion.

Nigel Swarbrick, the referee, sent Wise to the stands after he pushed West Brom striker Diomansy Kamara.

Wise later admitted he was angry with the player because of the slow manner in which he left the field after being substituted.

Since the incident, Wise has fallen foul of FA disciplinary chiefs for a second time, after being charged with using abusive words towards a match official following Leeds' recent 1-1 draw at Southend United. He has until April 11 to respond.
