The former Wimbledon and Chelsea midfielder is currently flying high with the Robins in League Two and was heavily rumoured with a link up with former Chelsea chairman Ken Bates at Elland Road.

West Brom were also rumoured to be interested in Wise following the sacking of Bryan Robson but he insists he has no wish to leave the County Ground.

"I am here to do a job and that is manage Swindon," said Wise in The Sun.
