The former Blackburn and England winger is now ready to join in group training sessions for the first time as he comes back from a knee problem.
Wilcox has made just four appearances this season and has been on the treatment table since Christmas.
Manager Eddie Gray told the Yorkshire Evening Post: "Jason has been working away on his own. He'll be back in training sometime this week. Hopefully, he'll get a game in the reserves over the next few weeks."
