The 33-year-old is currently playing in France with Marseille. He joined them in January after being without a club since leaving Fulham in May 2005.
The left-back joined the Londoners on a free from Rangers in August 2003 and made 16 appearances in two seasons before being released by the Premiership outfit.
Bonnissel has also played for Montpellier, Deportivo la Coruna and Bordeaux.
