The international defender is being eyed by a number of clubs, including Tottenham and Newcastle, as well as Leeds.
"I can confirm that we have rejected the bid from Leeds," Viking director Erik Forgaard told skysports.com. "They made us the offer on Friday and we rejected it on Saturday. That is the situation at present, obviously Brede would like to play in a better league and we know he could do a very good job in England so we are aware of that also."
