We've Got To Remain Together - Macca

The Leeds boss admitted that it had been a hugely disappointing night and his side had been sloppy but added: "There's still a long way to go and lots of points to play for.

"We've got to remain together, I've emphasised that to the players. We need everybody going in the same direction."

McAllister praised the support he's had since taking over, over 20,000 turned out on a filthy night to watch the Cheltenham match.

"We are very aware of how good the support is and we didn't give them much to shout about. We need to be much more controlled and clinical in the final third.

"I was sorry to hear the reaction to Tresor. He's got a couple of goals for us recently and been working hard to get into goal-scoring positions."

McAllister confirmed that Alan Thompson is again injured but that there is better news on Jonathon Douglas.

"We set up a match for Jonathon on Tuesday and he played 60 minutes against the kids so he is coming along very well.

"It's disappointing about Alan because at the moment we need senior players who can put their foot on the ball and calm things."
