Westy Stays On South Coast

The 24-year-old's initial one-month loan expired after Saturday's home fixture with Port Vale, but he has been given the nod to stay on the south coast for the rest of the campaign, including the play-offs if required.

"I'm delighted we have been able to agree to extend the deal," said Seagulls boss Dean Wilkins.

"Ian has shown he brings balance to the side, for the obvious reason of being left-footed, but he also brings an enthusiasm and a personality which fills in well with the club."
