He was talking after the 1-0 win over the Italian League last night with Southampton's Dexter Blackstock getting the only goal in a 1-0 victory at Hull's KC Stadium after 69 minutes.

The Italians finished with 10 men after Giovanni Rossi was sent off at the end. Simon Walton played the first 45 minutes but was substituted at half-time.

"Some of these players could get a move to the Premiership," Taylor said. "I've no doubt all the players here have the potential to get transferred or play for the Under-21s."

Taylor, who combines his duties as England U-21 boss with managing Hull City, added: "The Premiership boys get the first call to the Under-21 squad because nine times out of 10 they are better players. But there's a few players here I thought we were very good, and we created some good chances."
