Speaking after the game, Assistant Manager Eddie Gray told Sky Sports, "It was a bad start for us, and we were always up against it away from home. From our point of view, the defending was a bit slack on Gudjohnsen's goal but what a good finish."
"I think it (Sam Dalla Bonna's goal) was handball, but it was probably more ball to hand than hand to ball. Seth Johnson's injury affected us in the middle of the park and we were forced to change our shape. We had the ball for a fair amount but we never looked like scoring."
