Viduka: There Has Been A Malaise

Last updated : 03 April 2004 By Kevin Markey

Speaking in The Mirror, Viduka believes Leeds' problems date back a couple of years to the trials of Jonathan Woodgate and Lee Bowyer.

He said: "The main reason the results have been this way has been because we've all got into a mental state of thinking 'well, we'll just go with the flow'.

"Instead we should be realising the only way we're going to get out of the mess we're in is if we change something ourselves as a team. A lot of the time, even in training sessions, for the last couple of years there has been a malaise."
