Viduka: Pennant Signing A Masterstroke

Viduka, who notched his 50th Premiership goal for United with the winning strike against Middlesbrough on Saturday, says United finally have a winger who can provide the service he and strike partner Alan Smith have been sorting.

Pennant has had a huge impact since arriving from Highbury, and Viduka was correct in crediting the England U-21 star with a hand in all of United's goals against Boro.

"In the first half I thought the goal we created through Jermaine was outstanding, he actually set up all three goals," said Mark.

"He's brilliant, we haven't really had someone like that before, he adds an extra dimension to our game because everytime he gets the ball down the wing he's a threat. It's a lot easier for the front players to work off when you have someone like him.

"I also thought Sakho's finish was beautiful for the first goal and the second one was a great header from Papus (Camara).

"I think that all the players who have come in are top class players and we can gel together as a team and do the business."
