Viduka Future Looks Uncertain

Viduka looks likely to get a fine of two weeks' wages, believed to be around the region of £130k, after arriving late for training and then being late for a team meeting before Saturday's defeat against Arsenal, which he did not play.

He turned up on time at Leeds' Thorp Arch training ground today and his agent, Andrea D'Amico, hardly made the situation any better by saying: "I don't know about Mark's future, I am working day by day. Mark is a professional, so he knows that during a career there are lots of things that can happen.

"This is just another moment in a career, and I think it can pass. He wishes the season had gone better for Leeds and himself."

Asked if Viduka would play for The Whites again if he was picked, D'Amico told the BBC Sport website: "Yes, he is a professional."
