Venables on his way?

Reports at Sport.Telegraph say that Venables spent the whole of Thursday in discussion with Leeds chairman Peter Ridsdale and the signs are that the ex-England coach will resign after less than a year into his two year contract.

Venables has become disgruntled this season as the board have sanctioned the sales of many of his star players in order to ease debts and he has been given very little money to strengthen a side that sit perilously close to the relegation zone in the Premiership.
