The Daily Mail report that Yorkshire businessman Andy Flowers, who heads up Enterprise insurance, United's shirt sponsors, is set to complete a 75% takeover of the club this week.
Flowers - a lifelong Leeds supporter – is helping to fund the takeover of the Whites though it is not yet clear whether he plans to take up a seat on the board at Elland Road once the change of ownership is confirmed.
