United End Tour With Win-See Match Highlights

Last updated : 22 July 2006 By Carl Berg
In bleak conditions, it rained most of the time, FK Ulf Sandnes took the lead in the 20th minute when youngster Ben Parker lost the ball following a tackle and Norland Kiehl beat Neil Sullivan with a good finish.

With some crunching tackles the hosts were taking the game to Leeds, especially after their recent 3-1 win against the second division leaders in their league and defender Espen Maldal made sure Steve Stone and David Healy knew they would not be in for an easy time.

But Leeds slowly got into the pace of the game as Dan Harding, playing in midfield and Matthew Kilgallon were denied by keeper Geir Valland.

Bakke was impressive in midfield again and it was no surprise when he got the Whites back into the game when he headed Gary Kelly's cross near the half-time break.

Leeds then contained the hosts for much of the second half and Blake got off the mark, coming on as a sub for Healy, when he coolly slotted home the winner 15 minutes from time.

It was a good comeback from Leeds against a team in the middle of their current campaign and in difficult conditions.
