Having been frozen out of the Charlton first team since late January, the 32 year-old has joined Leeds until March 30 and is set to go straight into the squad for the Yorkshire derby with Sheffield Wednesday.
The wealth of experience that comes with a collection of 59 international caps and major international tournament appearances is likely to give Leeds a much needed boost, as they bid for Championship survival.
