Thommo Signs As Club Captain

The 33-year-old midfielder joins Leeds on a free transfer after leaving Scottish champions Celtic at the end of last season.

Thompson originally arrived at Elland Road on loan last term, scoring on his debut against West Bromwich Albion.

He returned to the club to participate in pre-season training during the summer.
