Tell The Fans The Truth

He openly states that if a decent offer came in for Matthew Kilgallon we'd have to sell!

Now I know every player has his price, but why publicly state our financial weakness?

Ken Bates said no-one goes without his or Kevin Blackwell's say so, and that we don't have to sell anymore, so is this just Peter's own opinion or does he know for a fact?

The transfer activity is very depressing with decent players, either freebies or loan signings, not coming to Elland Road while we've only spent money on Kevin Nicholls and Ian Westlake.

Now if we are saying as a club we're going for it we shouldn't be saying on the other hand we can't afford it so buy our best players for peanuts!

We are or are not in a position to challenge so tell the fans the truth.
