David Batty, who missed the home draw with Chelsea last Saturday after an ankle injury in training the day before, is rated as "touch and go", so Stephen McPhail could again deputise.

United remain without Roque Junior and Jason Wilcox is also missing after a recent minor knee operation.

Lamine Sakho is close to making a return to the first team after being out with a cracked rib, but Didier Domi has suffered a hip injury and is not fit for selection.
