Moore, 27, will undergo a medical at Thorp Arch tomorrow and he will then be able to complete his permanent transfer.

Reports suggest that a fee in the region of £50k is involved as Kevin Blackwell surprised everyone by making the move for a player who has scored 70 goals in 303 league games.

Moore, son of Oldham boss Ronnie, started his career at Tranmere Rovers before moving to Nottingham Forest, Stockport County and then Burnley.

He has also had loan spells at West Ham United and Bradford City in his career.

Leeds have beaten off competition from Sunderland and Sheffield United to land the Burnley frontman.
