Squad For Burnley Tomorrow

Last updated : 26 July 2003 By Kevin Markey

United travel to Turf Moor for tomorrow's friendly with possibly their strongest squad so far.

All the trialists were involved in a behind closed doors friendly against Hartlepool United at Thorp Arch yesterday afternoon which United won 4-3.

New signing Jody Morris is set to start, whilst another new arrival at Elland Road this week, Zoumana Camara, will start from the bench.

"Jody will play tomorrow providing everything's okay between now and then," Reid told the YEP. "He's settling in well and the next stage of that will be getting him out onto a pitch with the rest of the lads.

"Burnley will give us a good test, but it's another good chance for some of the lads to blend and get some more match practice under their belts.

"Camara should get a chance at some stage," Reid confirmed. "But he hasn't trained with us that much and it's a case of not rushing things too much.

"These games are important because they give me the chance to have a look at a lot of different players in a range of positions. It's still early days and I'm still looking to try a few things out."

Kick-off is 12 noon.

Squad: Robinson, Martyn, Barmby, Mills, Harte, Kelly, Duberry, Morris, Viduka, Camara, Kilgallon, Bakke, Seth Johnson, Simon Johnson, McPhail, Wilcox, Smith, Milner, Batty.
