Bridges is back
Matteo has been struggling for most of the season with a knee problem and the injury forced him to be replaced at half-time during last weekends 1-0 victory over Manchester United at Elland Road.

The Scotland international remains no more than 50/50 to lead the team out on Thursday night.

"Dominic is a worry," boss Terry Venables told the club's official website.

"He's been able to go out training on his own though and we'll see how he does after that."

However, on a brighter note, Venables has confirmed that striker Michael Bridges will finally make his long-awaited return from his two-year injury nightmare, and although he will have to settle for a place on the bench he could play for the whole of the second half.

"There's lots of things on my mind about the team at the moment," Venables concluded.
