Skipper Doubt For Gunners Clash

Matteo is still struggling with a thigh injury which forced him out of Tuesday's Carling Cup squad.

Peter Reid is set to recall Jermaine Pennant, David Batty and Mark Viduka from the side that played Manchester United.

Michael Bridges should drop to the bench as Viduka should be able to return after missing out on that game with a back problem.

Salomon Olembe is likely to be fit after limping off with a dead leg, while Batty returns after being rested. On-loan Gunners winger Pennant is also back after being allowed to play by Arsene Wenger.

The Arsenal boss could field an entirely different XI to side that played against Rotherham in the Carling Cup.

While Arsenal have started their best-ever campaign, this is Leeds' worst-ever opening to a Premiership season.

Leeds (from): Robinson, Kelly, Matteo, Harte, Radebe, Duberry, Roque Junior, Camara, Viduka, Olembe, Sakho, Wilcox, Smith, Johnson, Batty, Lennon, Domi, Chapuis, Bridges, Milner, Barmby, Carson.
