Sakho Yes, Healy No, Trobok Maybe

The 25-year-old becomes Peter Reid's fourth summer capture following the arrivals of Jody Morris, Zoumana Camara and Didier Domi. As with the Camara and Domi transfers, Leeds have an option to buy the Senegalese born striker at any time during his loan spell for a fee believed to be in the region of £3m.

Sakho impressed Reid, and the supporters, during the pre-season tour in Dublin, and has also done well since returning to training at Thorp Arch with his United team-mates.

However, there was a setback for manager Reid after Celtic midfielder Colin Healy turned down the opportunity to move to Elland Road. The 23-year-old trained with The Whites yesterday but has since decided to join First Division side Sunderland. Must be getting more money!

The boss though is still taking a look at Partizan Belgrade midfielder Goran Trobok. Bosnian-born Trobok, 28, is a Serbia & Montenegro international who has played 15 times for his country and featured in the recent friendly with England at Leicester. Described as a 'roving' midfielder, he averages around five goals a season.
