McCormack kicked off the month, which ultimately saw Leeds win three league games out of four, with an impressive brace in the 2-0 victory over Yeovil, thanks in no small part to rampaging midfielder and captain Rodolph Austin.

The United skipper's performances have also been recognised by fans in the last month, but it's Scotland striker McCormack who is fully deserving of his November award; not least for his four-goal heroics in the 4-2 win at Charlton.

He followed up his one-man wonder show at the Valley with an important goal in the more recent 2-1 win against Middlesbrough as Leeds continue to look to their main man to lead their challenge for a play-off place.

Leeds boss Brian McDermott says: "We've been trying to find the best position for Ross because if you give him chances he will score. Is he good enough for the Premier League? Absolutely. But we won't worry about that yet - hopefully he can keep doing that for us."

McCormack, who currently leads the race for the Championship golden boot with 12 goals, has certainly faced strong competition for the PFA?s November award; not least from the likes of Burnley strike duo Danny Ings and Sam Vokes, as well as Blackburn's Jordan Rhodes and Leicester's David Nugent.

But, according to our readers, the latest Elland Road hero who was the stand-out performer in the Championship, and McCormack is well on course to break his personal goalscoring record for the season, having hit 18 for Leeds in 2012 and 21 for Cardiff in 2009.
