Ridsdale re-elected

Ridsdale has come under fire from some Leeds fans because of the poor start to the season.

However, shareholders today gave him their overwhelming backing at the club’s AGM as he received a 96.7% share of the vote.

And, at the same AGM the United chairman also announced his decision to resign from his role with the Football Association. He was one of four Premier League chairman on the FA’s main decision making body - the main executive board.
